Project: Multi-storey building
Main goal: Understand and work with turnkey contract design two blocks of flats of 11/12 apartments. One of the buildings has a commercial area which made things a bit interesting when calculating the structure. Participate at the Tender and try to win the competition.
As student: I gain a lot of knowledge about the contract type and it's benefits. Even if the construction wasn't so complicated and materials used were usual ones(prefabricated concrete elements/ bricks) and liked to work with. The difference between the semesters was regarding roof(flat roof), balconies(strucural) and the building itself being buildable and stable. I followed subjects like: Structural design, Building Design, Building Planning and Management, Building Services.
Special: In the last month of the semester, I enjoyed doing my specialization. I chose to be trade contractor of the soil work. My job was to calculate soil, do drawings of exacavation, calculate cost and create the planning.
Important: I learned how to work with contracts and the difference between key contrator and trade contractor and I figure out how easy came to me to understand it. As well, I wrote a report about Management as Contractor which was considered well done by my consultant.

Project: Multi-purpose building
Main goal: The aim of this project is to design a new Multipurpose hall for sporting activities and office block. As consultant I was to prepare an outline/scheme proposal.
As student: I gained knowledge about the construction business and the difference between consultant and trade contractor. During the semester I played both roles with all it involves from paper work to drawings. I encoutered subjects as: Building Design, Structural Design, Building Planning and Management, Building Services and Communication and Special Courses about materials(concrete, wood) and moisture.
Special: Visit of the prefabricated concrete elements and wood elements.
Important: This semester I figured out that I have more a BPM mind and Construction Management is what it suits me best. I find out that I am good in calculating costs, doing contracts and planning wasn't an issues for me.

Project: Single family house with 2 floors

Main goal: understand the process and build the project according the clients brief.
The building has 2 floors(groaund floor and 1st floor) + unhabitable basement.
As student I learned the importance of keeping track of the clients desires and how to make a project from outine to detail 1. I folowed subjects as: Building Design, Structural Design, Building planning and management, Building Services and Communication.
Special: Those weekly visits to the building site made me understand the importance of colaboration between the trades and a very good understanding of the building proccess.
Important: Since 2nd semester I put big importance in Health and Safety Plan and Planning
